It turned out great. I per-baked the pie crust for ten minutes. I used Nellie & Joe's key lime juice and followed the recipe on the bottle.
The amount was perfect fill for a 9" deep dish crust. I may have a slice for breakfast.

(639 posts)but our favorite Key lime pie story was from the first time my niece tried it. She was maybe 5 or 6 years old. We were sitting at the table, much anticipated slices of pie in front of us, she took her first bite, and spit it back out onto her plate.
Luckily, the rest of us enjoyed it.
