What's for Dinner, Sun., Dec. 7, 2025

I'm going to an Indivisible event in a few minutes, so that's why I'm posting early.

My plan is to make chicken soup with matzoh balls tonight.

Kombucha: cherry-ginger.

Dessert: Chocolate from the new package the RG sent me from Italy! Actually, he sent several packages, and one is from Chicago (says Vosges on it). It's from the Caramel Marshmallows box, and l want one of the Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla pieces.

Yes, it gets cold in Florida… At least I’m chilled.

I just threw together some chili in the IP—red beans, TVP, roasted corn, jalapeños, spices, and a small can of tomato paste. By actual dinnertime (two or three hours), it should be fabulous!

Don’t even look at the weather app. I assure you it’s what passes for chili weather here on the left coast.

I added some onion, garlic cloves and spice to the cabbage. I simmered the potato on its own, then chunked it up with butter, salt and pepper. Easy, tasty dinner.

Good evening!

Mine is a 2-crust chicken pie (2 breasts from the freezer, 1 cup jarred mirepoix, just a little gravy for moistness) and a salad. Should last us 2 meals (4 servings).

Contains fire roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, chopped onion, green bell pepper, carrots, garlic, sweet corn, kidney beans, black beans and chopped parsley. Spices were chili powder, cumin, oregano, chipotle powder, and red pepper flakes. Cheers!🥂
