Pulled my fish out of air-fryer last night

and noticed a huge spot of the non-stick surface was missing from the basket, found it on the bottom of the fish.
Read online this happens quite often with air-fryers. Go check yours, no need to poison ourselves.

Ordered one a little bit ago that has a glass basket. Also noticed a couple different companies make disposable
liners to go into baskets, probably on account of flaky Teflon. Have a safe and Merry Christmas everyone.

I haven't used mine in awhile. Doing more in the crockpot. Coffee filters for liners sounds like a good idea TommieMommy Monday #4

Luckily I usually use a silicone liner or foil.

My friend found some online that are the size of the trays, can also get sheets of parchment in grocery stores. You just have to make sure it doesn't flap up into the heating element.

My new stove has a built-in air fryer setting. It's not quite the same, but I use my own pan and if I need something super-crispy, i will pull the air fryer out of storage. I'll keep a close watch on the coating now!
