Breakfast Friday 27 March 2026

Last edited Fri Mar 27, 2026, 07:23 AM - Edit history (1)

Later this morning I'm planning on baking the spinach-mushroom quiche I bought earlier this week with some mango cubes, a pot of hot tea.

The thunderstorms last night lasted till around 1:30, but the power never went out.

Was thundering outside and my furry boy moved from sleeping by my side to sitting on my head in bed.
Dad’s head and pillows are the safest place to be I guess.

I went to bed around 1:30 and it was still raining. I wish I would had remembered to put out my rain gauges. I know we got a lot of rain last night, but not sure how much. Like iris, we are thankful we didn't lose power.

Good Morning 🌄

around Mother's Day. After last nights rain, it might take that long before the garden drys out.

but my view is that seeds are cheap, so I'll just re-plant if I lose anything. I can put a cover on anything vulnerable, but I mostly focus on cold weather plants at this time, anyway. It doesn't bother them.

It seems to be a given that the electric fails if you look at a wall plug funny :/

I made creamed chipped beef and had it over some sourdough toast. And black coffee.
