I made pearl sugar today

When I posted about my mini waffler, Ilsa mentioned Liege waffles and pearl sugar. When I went to the international market, I looked for pearl sugar, but no luck. I found an online recipe to follow. Looking forward to using it next time I make waffles.

Doesn't melt in the oven. Would be a difficult sell to me.

I saw some vanilla sugar cookies that the pearl sugar might compliment. I organized my cupboards and pantry over the last 2 days. My grandkids got me vanilla beans for Christmas. I knew I have them, but I kept forgetting. Anyway, have everything to make sugar cookies. Just need someone to eat them Maybe I'll bake after the heatwave passes. And buy a bottle of alcohol this week and start another batch of vanilla. Oh my!
