Johnny's has a purple okra this year. I may have to grow some.

That's one of my favorite vegetables. I've never seen purple before, but it looks yummy.

Even if you hate okra, the pickled ones can be addictive. They're one of the best "I need a snack" foods available.

also going to try spaghetti squash - since we love it and eat so much of it!

And going back to purple bush beans (been years since I've grown them)

I just wish they would STAY purple when you cook them. Weird, but they go green. I like to use them fresh on salads for color. They grow very well around here - well, if the rabbits don't munch off all of the leaves. That's one of their favorite varieties to demolish.
