was listed in a seed catalog - I got the seed in 1990, grew and named and saved seed from it, sent it to Southern Exposure Seed Exchange (my friend Jeff McCormack ran it) - he first listed it in his 1993 catalog! I am astounded at how popular it has become.

Below is the listing from the 1994 catalog (I misplaced the 1993, sadly!)

2018 list:

Cherokee Purple

Black and Brown Boar (been producing for a week now...a favorite last year too)

Pink Boar (already producing beautiful plum sized guys...yum )

Pork Chop (lots of green ones taking their time to turn yellow)

Black Sea Man (I know!)

Lizzano (been producing for a month...tons of little red guys with good flavor)

HoneyBee (2018 surprise so far...profusion of balanced, cherry sized yellows just keep coming and coming on small ish plant)

Madame Marmande

Summer of Love (can't wait!)

Clementine (been producing for couple of weeks...so reliable and easy)

Black Krim (just picked the first 3)

Japanese Black Trifele (huge plant, loaded. will have the first ripe one tonight)

Frosted Green Doctor's (don't look delicious but they are!)

Pink Berkeley Tie Dye (gotten several already...smokey, salty)

Have planted a second round from cuttings off some of the young plants of the first round and given away several. On my third planting of Summer of Love, which was awesome last year.

Most in pots, about a quarter in the ground. Knock on wood...all doing great. So far so good. Had to quarantine one that looked suspicious but it's doing fine...but still not allowed to play near others

So fun!
