I've grown herbs and vegetables in Earthboxes for years. I grab whatever is on the shelf at Home Depot. These days, just about anything is organic. I generally get something tomato-specific for tomatoes. It's higher in calcium, I believe, which minimizes blossom end rot.

Not sure if it's a safe around here since I also have a butterfly garden. Not that the food specific caterpillars will get ideas, but the bugs that are also around this garden might get ideas.

.. feeds the micro critters. VX pro mix is good. As per fert. Espoma plantone.
