Set up the heated drinker for my chickens and put the wind guard panels in their coop. Mulched the perennial beds and moved leaves too the street for the compost truck. Hired a gutter cleaner to clean the gutters and downspouts on the house. This winter blast is our 3rd so far since September. It blew like a banshee all night. Stay warm!

Hoses and faucets...patio cushions and umbrella taken to storage...Just gotta put the snow brushes in the car.

I got the creepy crawly scale on my star magnolia, so gotta go out and scrape some of those hibernating buggers off the branches; shucks, missed the right season to smother 'em with horticultural oil and don't want to spray pesticides around, so...put some dormant oil spray on the list for the branches I can't reach with my little scraper.
