She was born to Misty on 5/10/05 at 02:10 am.

Older, with her Mama.

Back to the present. Maddie likes green grass.

And she loves her Mom Laurie.

That’s so neat that you have pictures of her as a newborn foal (is that the correct term?)

She looks so sweet and her colors are just beautiful. You can tell she has been lovingly cared for her entire life!

Question: what is that she’s wearing in the green grass photo?

We were present when most of our babies were born and Laurie began handling them right away to socialize them. That's a fly mask she has on. They work well for fly protection and, in Maddie's case, helps shield her nose from sunburn.
