Update: on My Dog

Thank you all who responded to my post yesterday. Dakota is doing fine after his double meal last night. He is very perky tonight.

Also was able with the help of my sister was able to shovel a path to the cat shed. Hissy hadn't eaten a lot of the food I left her Saturday, but at my sister's suggestion I heated some of her wet food in the microwave and she ate that right up.

That's good that you bring the kitty warm water. I will try to bring Hissy some in the morning. I normally do bring her warm tap water, but it freezes so quickly, but maybe if I heat it in the microwave, then bring it out, it might stay warm enough longer for her to get a drink. The food today cooled down enough by the time I got to the shed so it wasn't too hot for her to eat.

even after he just eats his meal. I decided he wasn't getting enough good nutrition, so I started cooking for him. He eats it up like crazy. Just the other night, he basically got a meal and a half. He's a huge dog, tho... I figure he could eat and eat and eat and it'd never get to him!

Glad your pup's okay... dogs are pretty resilient, I've found. Not so much, my cats...

You must be so relieved. I know how stressful it is when we worry about our pets.

Thank you for updating us about Dakota. I'm also glad to hear that Hissy ate her food.
