Related: About this forumMonday -- Shadow and KC -- Back to the old farm.
Shadow was a cute puppy.

A mischievous little girl.

Who loved playing with her first red Jolly Ball.

And her second, a blue ball. (She chewed through the red one.)

This is her third. (It's still "in play".)

Showing KC the proper way to scritch an itch.

Shadow loved to play with Mommy's irrigation system.

And always came back in the house a soggy doggy.

KittyCat was more of an outdoor cat at the old farm.

He preferred warmer weather. (Still does.)

Occasionally KC found his own adventure, even if he didn't mean to.

Still, when he'd had his druthers, he liked being inside.
Especially when there was a human hand handy.

But very often we'd find him like this.

Thanks for dropping in. See ya next week.

(11,136 posts)Each irrigation tube was fixed to a wood post, which then was attached to the fence.
Shadow would get a running start and climb the wood post to get at the water spray. Thus "checking" the system.

(2,293 posts)These are such great pictures, George McGovern. Not a bad one in the bunch. I like the juxtaposition of Shadow in motion (especially climbing that pole - wow!) and KC in repose! Shadow is such a pretty girl and KC is such a handsome boy.
Thank you for posting these pictures of Shadow and KC in their younger years. I look forward to next week's edition of the Shadow and KC Files!
