Related: About this forumSaturday's Horses New neighbors have goats. Maddie and Pete appear disinterested.

Maddie and Pete coming in for dinner. Why rush?

Sateen had her riders aboard for a bit.

She got in some good grazing the day we watched her.

Spied a male House Finch on one of the salt blocks.

One day I saw Pete and Maddie over by the barn. I was curious what Maddie was up to.

Turned out she was helping out Laurie by eating down weeds in the ditch.

Another early afternoon found the kids asleep on their feet.

This evening they stayed around the barn after dinner.

Pete decided it was time for a good roll.

Back to grazing.

OP
Win-win is good. But my very first micro-mini-second glance thought That's Not Sateen! Thanks ShazzieB!

They are so funny to watch playing & jumping around.

Thx for sharing with us.
Happy 4th to you, Laurie, & all your fur kids.

(23,120 posts)2. Love the photo of Sateen with the birds! 🥰
That reminds of photos I've seen of rhinos with tickbirds. (I presume those birds perform the same service as the tickbirds do for the rhinos, which is a win-win!)
