That sound makes me jump, immediately!
Madoc was exploring at the bar cart. Fortunately he simply bumped up against a couple of bottles on the bottom shelf, and WASN'T kitty creeping amongst the glassware on top of the cart.

Madoc seems to refrain from knocking things off flat surfaces until I'm present to witness his mischief.

Ember, on the other hand, enjoys knowing that the sound of things crashing (and maybe breaking) will bring me running in a hurry. That's the point for her, to get my full attention. Then, when she has it, she gives me the I-own-you stare, followed by the "So what are you going to do about it" look of defiance.

It sounded like a bomb went off, and there was glass everywhere!
