Related: About this forumI had to rescue little Dylan from a torrential downpour of rain
I thought he went with his mom when the rain started. For some reason I looked out the door during the hardest of the rain and there he was, drenched to the bone. I ran outside and grabbed him, got him dried off, game him some comfort and now he's in the playpen that's on the back screened in porch. He's got a bed, food, water and a litter box so I might just leave him there for the night because the back yard is flooded.
I'll reunite him with his mom and sibling, early tomorrow morning.

(27,543 posts)The rain hit really sudden so he probably got separated from Tabby. He was just wandering around in the downpour.
He seems settled in, right now, so I just think it best to keep him inside until morning.

(7,006 posts)Love your posts.
Love your concerns for the kitties.
The great things about pets, even the semi-feral ones: Show them some love, and they give it back ten times over.
Our semi-feral adult cat only comes in when he is hungry, then he acts all friendly and purrs loudly.
The 'I'm tame' act is over once he has eaten though. lol

Re Dylan, I am so glad you caught the poor little nut and dried him off and gave him a safe, warm spot for the night.
