Related: About this forumA wonderful conclusion to Operation Rescue Dylan from the Deluge
I brought him some breakfast at 6 and then fed the inside kidcats.
He had tucked in, seeming none the worse for last night's trauma. When I checked on him, again, I looked out the door and there was his mom, obviously in a state of slight distress. So I scooped up Dylan and his food bowl and set them both on the walkway. Tabby (his mom) walked up to within just a few inches of me and looked up. I think she was saying 'thank you.'
So, the best possible ending to a nightmarish situation.

I'm just so glad that something or 'someone' told me to look out that door when I did.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
