Dylan and Tabby have NEVER been absent for a whole day, which is why I was in a state of panic about what possibly happened to them.
Tabby showed up about an hour or so ago but no sight of Dylan. And believe me, I looked. Then I went out on the porch and there he was!!!! I'm so relieved!!
I still haven't seen Dot but I'll keep looking.

(6,497 posts)I would come and take two of them.
Tomorrow we are going to the shelter to find a young kittah for our queen Princess Catness.
Our old orange tabby boy died this year at age 23 and with only one cat now in the house.
Have been looking at pictures online and of course we want ALL of them. Our only cat is young (3) and needs someone to play with and to groom and kick their ass. She is a rescue herself, a smoke point Himalayan. She was living in a bathroom of an apt. where two young men lived with 2 pitties. It wasn't working out. One of the boy's Mother put an ad online for someone to rescue the cat because she felt it wasn't safe for her. Well it wasn't so I was the first in line to snatch her up.
So tomorrow will be exciting! A new life will come into the house and turn it upside down!
Whoo Hoo!!

(40,064 posts)Now ensconced in a safe, loving home. Thank heavens you were first in line and thanks to that mother, too, who saw it was a less than ideal situation.
Excited for you for tomorrow. I hope we'll get to see pics!
I love it that your orange dude lived to 23. I have one, too, and it would be great if he lived that long.

I'm so glad Dylan is back. What a cutie. Looks like he's attacking his meal with gusto.

(6,497 posts)I don't know how to do that. I tried several times but never had any luck and some places want to charge you.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
