Related: About this forumI'm not actually sure Sian is a kitten. I think she might be a spider monkey disguised as a kitten
The girl is all legs and tail and she can navigate a room at supersonic speed. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see her hanging from a light fixture by her prehensile tail!!
And talk about mischievous! She's even more prolific than Madoc at clearing a flat surface. She constantly ambushes Arthur and tries to wrestle him to the ground and she has replaced Gryff as the kitchen patrolling, get under mom's feet tripping hazard. That's OK. She's gotten pretty good at last minute swerves to avoid being stepped on.
That being said, she is also a VERY affectionate little girl. Every night she sleeps snuggled up with me. In the morning she gently patty paws my face to wake me up. She makes the most gentle biscuits.
I'm now a true believer that black cats are real treasures.

(10,196 posts)She learned to play fetch with me (in the house) better than any dog I've ever had. She lived to be 21 years old.

(13,056 posts)Loved to play fetch. Loved petting him at night in the dark as there was static lightning in his black shiny fur.He never seemed to mind it. He was a little 4 legged storm cloud.

(123,756 posts)I've noticed that Tegan, the little black kitten, has the same brownish undertone as Sian.

(2,068 posts)Our tuxedo, Jasper, isn't cuddly, but loves pets and head butts and kisses. No picking up, except sometimes
They're both treasures!

(7,620 posts)He's a real snuggler. At bed time he snuggles against my head & shoulder on the pillow next to me, sometimes with his paw around my neck, & purrs me to sleep.
I've had several cats over the years & he's my first black one, with beautiful shiny fur, & he's a total love bug.
