Related: About this forumThere are no Oak trees on my property so Merlin has chosen a Lilac Tree as his lair.
In fact, ALL of the kittens are trying their paws at climbing. I was surprised to see little Rhian had scaled up to an impressive height. Bronwyn is still perfecting her skill. Dylan has speed over actual agility.
But I have to say that Merlin looks the most impressive.
And at least they've stopped trying to scale the VERY tall Maple tree.

(4,550 posts)I didn't know they could grow that huge. We always had bushes with so many flowers to bury our faces in. Lucky you and lucky kitties. I've missed lilacs so much since moving from the northeast about 50 years ago. Enjoy the heavenly fragrance for both of us.

Good to see they are learning their cat skills and doing well at it! Beautiful little guy!

(26,691 posts)Based on his coloring, Merlin may well be (partly anyway) a lilac point Siamese. Their color points are described as silvery gray, whereas blue points are said to be a darker slate gray
Such a handsome fellow. A lilac point in a lilac tree. Im in love from afar.
We have a brother-sister pair of Siamese mix 9 month old kittens - Fitz and Charlotte. Their mom was a tortie. Charlotte is definitely a seal point with bright blue eyes that I could stare at all day. Fitz has pale blue eyes, and some days I think he is a blue point, and other days a lilac point. They are both applehead Siamese, so nice round heads rather than the stretched out triangular look.
