The new kitten officially has a name

5. The Siamese cat that is my sig line below looked like that when he was a kitten.

Don't be surprised if Sugar's coat gets darker as she grows older.

7. We have another Meezer

When we got her, she was mostly light tan w/ dark brown points. She is now dark brown w/ black points.

So, yeah, we get that she's going to get darker.

She's still "Sugar" though, because she's just the sweetest thing.

10. I loved that Siamese cat, but my brother would let the cat roam outside.

He would get into my lap and roll over for belly rubs. And I forgot to mention that Sugar is an adorable kitty.

6. She looks like she owns the place already.

So pretty. She looks like a blue point Siamese. How blue are her eyes? We have a brother-sister pair of Meezers. The boy is a blue point, and his sister is a seal point. He face, ears and cute little nose are such a dark shade of brown that she almost looks like those parts of her have been cut from black velvet. Her eyes are quite blue. Her brother's coloring is the same as Sugar's, and his eyes are much paler.

If they had been painted by famous artists, the sister would have been done by Van Gogh, and the brother by Monet.

Another interesting cat fact. When a female cat is in heat, she does not ovulate until the act of mating. If a female mates with more than one male, she will produce a litter of kittens who have different fathers, hence the variety of coat patterns and colors amongst kittens in the same litter.

That was born here years ago. We collected them, had them neutered and released, and they are all gone now except for my Tiger.

She reminds me of my old cat Jazzmine. I used to call her "Air-Air" because thats what she would always say. She was a very talkative girl. She was my dog's "body-guard".
