He's getting so big and somewhat uncontainable.

(27,274 posts)He's so small and the den, where he's staying, is a dark room. We refer to it as 'The Cave'. After I almost stepped on him, because I couldn't see him, I decided that until he gets bigger, he's going to be wearing a collar. It doesn't seem to bother him.

(377 posts)One word of warning lol,
Please don't neglect all the other precious ones that we love to see, or they'll get jealous.
I was thinking of suggesting that maybe you tell him stories about the little ones that passed before him and gift him a few nuggets of their souls that you carry and let him share and live carrying their spirit.
Merlins life will have a purpose that he is uniquely qualified to fulfill.

(27,274 posts)Gryff and, to a point, Arthur now play with Merlin. They will both climb up on my lap when Merlin is already settled in. He loves to chew on Gryff's ears and Gryff is so patient with him.
Madoc is still a little aloof but show zero aggression.
Carys is, as usual, off in her own little world. I give her as much attention as she will allow.
I don't know what I would have done, this week, without them. Merlin and Gryff are relentless in their quest for attention, and I HAD to get out of bed to feed them.
