My neighbor hung two flags.

My neighbor hung two flags from the corner of his roof. His house is on a busy main street, removed by just an island, so those driving by can see his flags easily.

One is the predictable Trump flag with the MAGAt slogan.

The other is solid black with this image in white: the silhouette of what looks to my untrained eye to be an assault rifle. Below that firearm are the words, "COME AND TAKE IT."

We don't need such provocation in this country. I am tempted to knock on his door and ask why he would provoke his fellow citizens like this - but I don't want to be a statistic.

Would you visit his home? If so, what would you say?

We had one guy in town that went all out. Big front porch full of T flags and there were so many they spilled out on to the yard. His house was surrounded by Harris signs…..after the selection even he figured out that it was best to take that nasty mess down!

10. He has as much right to hang

those flags as you have the right to fly Pride flags.

Until or unless he acts, he is just being an asshole.

There is nothing that you can do to un-asshole someone without the risk of making them a bigger asshole.

I have a few neighbors like that...I ignore them and do not initiate contact but I also try not to project my feelings towards them.
