Caller calls in to (SanFran KGO810 Radio Host) Ray Taliaferro and repeatedly asks, "are you gay?"

I used to listen to his show when I was working on the night shit decades ago. He passed away five years ago in a tragic incident.

KGO used to be a great radio station where all voices were heard, especially JohnSJ Feb 5 #1

strong progressive voices.

Then cumulus media took over and destroyed it.

then not far from Phoenix--the signal was so strong I could receive it with an AM radio at night.

Ray was a treasure. Even the hosts I disagreed with I could listen to. And they had the best morning and afternoon news. Just classic talk radio, rarely to be heard again.

People unfamiliar with KGO may not know that this clip is at least 10 years old. Ray died some time ago.

There were two major heartbreaks--first when they had the first round of major layoffs, and then the total obscenity of turning it into a sports gambling station.
