Tech billionaire Elon Musk is facing criticism for a claim about President Donald Trump that many people are finding more than a little over-the-top.
Whats something that people wouldnt know about the president? Fox News host Bret Baier asked during an interview that aired on Thursday. Youre pretty close to him now, you spend a lot of time with him. Whats something that people wouldnt know?
I think the president is a good man, Musk said. I think he is an honest man, and I have yet to see him do anything mean or anything that is wrong, that I would say morally wrong. Not even once.
Trump lies so often that fact-checkers often struggle to keep track during his speeches and other events. During Trumps first term, The Washington Post documented 30,573 false or misleading claims.

Elon Musk cherry-picked his more seasoned Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) lieutenants for a primetime interview on Fox News Thursday, opting to leave out the numerous twenty-something foot soldiersand even several teenagerswho have dominated news cycles with their hostile takeovers of agencies across the federal government.
The billionaire used the opportunity to introduce to the public some of the leaders spearheading his slash-and-burn approach to government reform, sitting down for a question-and-answer session on Special Report with Bret Baier.
In all, seven DOGE staffers joined the interview to share their own perspective on why they decided to join the effort to reduce the size and cost of government.

Musk notably left out the agencys most high-profile staffer to date: 19-year-old Edward Coristine, better known online under the handle Big Balls. The teen captured the internets collective attention when it was revealed that he was working as a senior adviser in the State Departmentspecifically, the Bureau of Diplomatic Technology.
