Just a thought, not all of mine are all that good, but

What if the US and other NATO countries decided to hold military exercises along their boarder with Russia. Say 300,000 troops along with tanks, missiles and other heavy equipment. Just for practice.
That would be Finland, Poland, Norway Latvia and Lithuania. As I understand it, more than half of Russian battle ready troops are now deployed around Ukraine.
Might that make little putin sweat a little?

Close proximity of military forces is a good recipe for accidental engagement too.

Is to move the Doomsday Clock to three seconds to midnight. It's currently way back at 100 seconds. In 1991 it was at 17 minutes- amazing progress we've made

BTW Finland is not a NATO member

the only NATO countries on Russia's border are Estonia and Latvia.
