The United States under president Donald Trump seems to be intentionally destroying its global influence. The latest development is a new National Security Strategy that undermines the post-WWII global order that the United States built with much effort and intentionality. The U.S. has expressed a desire to abandon former allies and global dominance to focus on regional power instead. This comes on the back of an already highly unsuccessful tariff strategy that undermined trade relationships and the relevance of the U.S. dollar.

In this video I talk about the real foundations of American power - and prosperity - and how these policies are undermining those very foundations (and with them, America's future).

it's not that "we" (well, trump et al) are throwing away our international power...

"we" (well, trump et al) are throwing away our NATIONAL power.

the only thing stopping the oligarchs from taking EVERYTHING (national parks, BLM land, Native American reservations, forests, minerals, helium, every national resource you can name) is the inertia of the federal government,

if it falls, it is all up for the taking.

there is some saying...I know I am misquoting...that says "in chaos there is opportunity."

I believe THAT is what they are shooting for.
