You may be at that point in life where you find yourself driving a fellow vet were both fifty nine to his eye appointment tomorrow.
Because he will have his eyes dilated by optometrist my only request was can i have those shades they will give him after his test.
His reply was fuck no clearly active and former 19K M.O.S. do not have the unselfishness or giving nature of us active and former 11B.

(4,998 posts)I had my eyes dilated, and as I was checking out, the girl offered me the cardboard sunglasses. I looked out the window and saw that it was dark and cloudy outside, so I passed on the funky glasses.
Turns out, it was dark and cloudy because it was RAINING! Which meant that all the cars had their headlights on, reflecting on the wet streets.
Lesson learned.

(29 posts)I wore BDUs, had my eyes dilated for the first time about two months ago. I live in Phx and rode my bike, didn't think I would need those overglasses. It hurt when I walked outside. My helmet has a built in sun visor and it worked really well. I was 11B, Ft. Benning Baby.

(24,410 posts)... ask the receptionist how much for a pair of those cool over-the-glasses sunglasses. Probably dirt cheap. Possibly free.
If no luck, at least you killed a few minutes in conversation, instead of staring at dental advertisements.
Take the dog. She'd probably give him some sunglasses, too, just for the selfie.
