Now the waiting game

I called Oak Street Health, per their email request, regarding my really bad experience on June 7. Now I'm waiting for a call back from their practice manager, sometime today. And, of course, my anxiety is peaking so I'm headed out to do some garden work.

My next appointment, just for lab work, isn't until the 5th and I'm still considering rescheduling. Hopefully this conversation will resolve this issue. I have NO intention of going into a shrill 'I want to talk to the manager!' mode. Mainly because I will be talking to the manager. I plan to stay calm and measured. After all, this was the first time I've EVER had an issue at Oak Street. I just really don't want to have another.

Ah, just another trigger with which I'll have to deal.

Time to attack the weeds.

by doing so. Sure anyone can have a bad day, but if that is the case, the clinic will take that into account when assessing that physician's interaction with you. Good on ya!

I wouldn't want that person in charge of my healthcare in any case.
