"I was supposed to launch THE BLACK WOLF at the Kennedy Center in DC, but in the wake of Trump taking over, I have pulled out. It was, of course, going to be a career highlight. But there are things far more important than that."

I have read all of her, Chief Inspector Gamache, books up to "The Gray Wolf", and I hope to read it very soon. She truely made a selfless choice, by canceling her new book's launch. I hope that she finds an even better venue in which to launch her latest book, and that she is well rewarded and heralded by all her readers and new fans. She is a brilliant author.

I, too, have read and loved all her books, including The Grey Wolf. Have you read State of Terror that she co-wrote with Hillary Clinton? The Wolf novel is more like that one than her others. Several people are surprised and disappointed in how political and realistic it is. I thought it was terrific and am really looking forward to The Black Wolf. This action for the KC has made me respect her even more.
