It is to laugh - Music Toons Part 1

One of my passions is Music. For those of you who are musicians or simply love music, I hope you enjoy these. Some of the phrasing on some toons refers to lyrics from songs. Identifying them is interesting,
The last image is a fantastic job done by "Uncle Joe" of interspersed single line lyrics of songs from the 50s to the 80s. Many younger folk may not know a lot of the ones referenced. They are worth finding out.

3. Southern Ca Version

There's actually a version that says,"Standin' on a corner in Southern California"...heard it live in 1980 while in San Diego

4. Original version said Winslow AZ, I'm sure you know that.

They said Southern California because they were in San Diego, wonder if they changed location
for every place they "rock & rolled" at? See the reflection of the flat bed Ford?

5. Yeah they were going to, but

a guy I was working with at the time in scientfic and laser optics who was the head lighting man for Genesis and helped the Eagles at times said they were going to try to do that but decided there might be too much "favoritism" that could cause fans in other places where they DIDN'T use that location to be upset. So as another group once said, "The song remain(ed) the Same!" live from then on...supposedly!
