So... About "Breakfast of Champions"

On page 240 The Creator of the Universe foretells that Kilgore Trout will have the first joint of his right index finger bitten off, yet on page 281 we see that it's the first joint of his right ring finger that's lost.

Damn you, Vonnegut. What are you up to?

This past week I (re)read Kilgore Trout's (Farmer IIRCC) Venus on a Half Shell and Morrow's Towing Jehovah and Blameless in Babalon.

Yesterday I read Jim Thompson's King Blood (1952) that had an amputated finger and a psychicly amputated vagina.

Vonnegut you must be messing with me too.

My favs are God Bless You Mr Rosewater and Cat's Cradle. I have a copy of Player Piano published as Utopia-40 in the UK bought in Hay-on-Wye back in the 1990s.
