Calls had not been pouring in, and anyway, this placid New York City suburb scarcely had any crime to complain of, at least by City standards. Suddenly, at 6:35 p. m., the calm was destroyed by a phone call that would shatter the safe suburban aura that pervaded the county. Transcripts from the conversation demonstrate the caller's rattled composure as he tried to relate to an operator the horrifying scene he and his friends had been led to:

is quite the chameleon isn't he. I thought this was an excellent write up and I never knew of all these other things in this case. Even has Mafia ties, crazy stuff. Thank for directing me to this forum, I hope others here found this story interesting.
