I am trying a tad of fantastic realism. And it started to get out of control. I kept going and then I went... nope, this is not good. So hacked and slashed and ended up with a short story.

Writing news stories is very different than fiction.

I am proof positive the out of practice shows.



Though got an upgrade to Save the Cat, will try that for a longer piece.

I decided that I have to start doing the Hemingway program. He wrote non fiction during the day, and fiction in the evening. No, I am not even to his little toe.

as he worked as a reporter.

Later in life he had the leisure to go both nuts and write fiction, I will pass on the latter part of the program. I suspect these days he would have been diagnosed with PTSD.
