Tesla Cybertruck is ugly.

I saw one this weekend and was reminded of how easy it is to create a buzz that turns bad traits into desirable assets. I see comments praising the angular styling or whatever. I thought it was ugly in photographs, but I had to see it in person to appreciate how truly hideous it looks.

I was stopped at a crosswalk yesterday as a Cyber Truck began a left turn in front of me. It pulled up and had to pause as some folks used the crosswalk. They stopped, pointed, and laughed , joking with each other about how ugly it is. I heard the whole thing, from the teenagers “eww” to the mom’s, “I had no idea they were so ugly”. Lucky for the driver he had his windows rolled up but he couldn’t have missed their review.

Another fun cyber truck sighting: I saw a good looking Rivian pickup parked at a market near me. It’s California vanity license plate read: CYBR TRK. A fantastic troll in my book.

Luckily for the loon, the USdoesn't have standards like that.

The main issue is that on the front corners, the sheet metal comes to a shrp edge that would impail a person if the vehicle struck them.

The most likely place for a vehicle to strike a person is on it's from corner or front grill. That's exactly where the sharp edges are. And by sharp, I saw a youtube demo where they were able to slice fruit on it.

The front safety issue is at the 6:30 mark, more or less.

Saw one on the street recently and it looked like a truck built in Lego’s by a kid.

The skin is not coated, so it will uglify faster than its daddy.

The Cybertruck does not ship with clear coat, that outermost layer of transparent paint that comes as standard on almost every new motor vehicle on the planet. Instead, each Cybertruck owner has the option to purchase a $5,000 urethane-based film to "wrap your Cybertruck in our premium satin clear paint films. Only available through Tesla."

Ugliest thing I’ve seen on wheels. For some reason the Cybertruck reminds me of an armadillo.

painted or wrapped a shiner-truck with jungle camouflage in N. Salt Lake last week.

After laughing at it, I commented, "that doesn't work, it was easy to spot even with the camo!"

What goes on in the heads of people like that?

It's no wonder this country is so screwed up.
