3 episodes The first episode sets the table. Sox signing Millar, Martinez, and Ortiz, a young Theo Epstein as GM, new owners - than eating shit in the 2003 AL Championship with the Yankees..

I intend to savor Episode 3.....

Been a Red Sox fan since 1958, followed them as a kid in the Boston Record American, and lived through 1967, 1975, 1986, and the rest of the dramas that put Red Sox caps on many gravestones in New England. It’s only sports, entertainment, distraction, yes, but I sat on my couch after the last out in the 2004 World Series, and wept. Retrospectives like The Comeback are must watch stuff: just another round of proverbial bubbly for RSN.

Cubs fan first....Red Sox second. Dad grew up in Stoughton, outside of Boston. I grew up outside Chicago, but loved Boston as well. 2004 was just goddamn thrilling.....thx for the heads up on this...

My father, who brought my family up in Massachusetts, was very very happy when the Sox won. I'm glad that happened before he passed.
