There were rumors about Mike Trout waiving his no-trade clause to go to Philly

And then today, Trout lands on the IL with a hamstring injury.

The man has been cursed with horrible injury luck throughout his career. He's likely still a hall of famer, but his numbers would have been so much better if he didn't miss all that playing time.

It is interesting. Some people say he's happier out of the spotlight of the big-market teams. Less pressure. To each his own, I guess. But there's no World Series ring coming his way if he stays put.

When you have Ohtani and Trout and still can’t field a winner, your choices are pretty clear. He chose money and obscurity. The Califonia Angels of Los Angeles in Anahein. A trash team since its inception. imho

they were a pretty damn good team then, they beat the NY Yankees, the Minnesota Twins and then, in dramatic fashion, beat the SF Giants for their one and only World Series win.
