They are fabulous, precise flyers. I get them here in Florida over the pond behind my house after dark and all I can see is the water lines left in their wake as they go around and around. Just skimming bugs on the water's surface. A sight to behold. I also get smaller skimmers at times. But it is these larger skimmers that allow one to see the graceful moves they are able to make. It is a ballet.
