Send them positive thoughts for a safe trip home.

Their kids from 2021 should be back this year right? I sure hope you get to see them! They sure provided much needed joy during the reign of terror.

How's the bamboo cutting coming along?

Less than a week!

as guy I spoke with and who visited gave estimate of $5000!!! so my rational landlord said that was more than he could handle.

SO, been on a search, and just spoke with daughter's gardener who will come here Tuesday morning. KNOCK on WOOD!

and

'Due to the extraordinary distance the roots can travel, running bamboo has the potential to be more damaging to property than Japanese knotweed and has similar abilities to push through brickwork, drains, cavity walls, patios and exploit cracks or weaknesses in concrete.' OY!!!

Hope to get some pics to show y'all 'soon.'

Sounds awful!

Landlord should do whatever is necessary! It is, after all, his or her property.

I have no complaints.

(He/they had TRIPLETS, resulting in my house being leased when they recognized they'd have to move. They actually MOVED a big house, about 1/4 mile from this/my farm/house, becoming my neighbors. The kids graduated from colleges 2 years ago, but of course parents still responsible.)
