1. I hardly ever see...

Hummingbirds at all anymore. I think it's been about two or three years since I've seen even one. I have flowers all around the place and out around three trees and there are about six different pollinators around all the time. I walk through a small swarm of them at the end of the walkway on my way to the car every day.

2. Mine are being harassed by giant wasps this year

3. That is what happened at my hummy feeder.

The bees/wasps, whatever they were, kept chasing the hummies away.
I tried to get the bees off the feeder but they were very persistent.

4. The hummies were feeding like crazy and then yesterday no one showed up.

6. I expect them to be gone soon. Haven't seen the female today.I'll definitely be sad

8. I know, I was looking for them all day yesterday.

The feeder is right by the window were I sit.

I guess I was expecting them to say goodbye or leave me a nice little thank you note.
Not just depart suddenly.

9. I was sitting by the window yesterday watching and the female actually came up

She stopped inches from my face and Hubbard for a few seconds. I’ve often thought they come up to say goodbye and hello. There was no doubt she’s looking right at me

10. Yes mine do this as well.

They come right up to the window and look at me.
They are suspended in midair hovering right in front of me.

I always think they are curious, like who is this person.
Why are they near my food supply.
Maybe I need to chase them away.
Or maybe they are just saying hi.

5. 2 feeders, 8 cigar plants, a shrimp plant, 2 cardinal flowers and a few more plants, there's hummers

everywhere. This is the home stretch, in three weeks they'll be gone and we'll be sad.

7. We had a successful nesting season here.I know they have to leave, but I'll miss them

They were really hitting the flowers yesterday

12. Yep. Hoping we're all still here, the male usually shows up for me the last week in April
