First saw 3 'someones,'' thru windshield:



Closer, easier to identify: OSPREY!









RECOGNIZING me!!! Why on field, now being planted; why not @ river??? I have such a HUGE fondness for these birds!


Juvenile Ospreys have orange to reddish-orange eyes. Although eye color is variable among juvenile individuals it turns progressively yellow as the bird reaches the adult age.

3. Lots of useful stuff in that field for an Osprey. Urban Osprey sometimes collect plastic and food wrappers.
