Male American redstart warbler along the Appalachian Trail this morning

I walked a few miles on the AT in Jefferson National Forest, VA, looking for birds this morning. The redstart was a particularly difficult bird to photograph in the dense canopy.

the female's coloration is similar to the male's, but with yellow in place of red-orange. I had trouble IDing her because it would have never have occurred to me to look up "redstart" to find a black-and-yellow bird!
