Birders

I put up a hummingbird feeder the last week of April. No takers. Today I added a second feeder and this little darling (female ruby-throated) stopped by and took multiple sips from both feeders. If you've spent any time trying to photograph birds in the wild, taking photos of birds at feeders is like shooting fish in a barrel. Nonetheless, I'm going to be taking lots of shots of hummers that come to my feeders this summer and posting the best here.

They are so delightful to have around, although we have only seen the one a few times.
