The stats are close enough that in any given game I doubt there's a difference.
Remember, Brady's first 6 years starting occurred during a time when defenses were edjudicated differently.
What DBs got away with was different. The rush was not yet as QB protective.
So. I don't put much stock in the TD/Int ratio. They're both really good for the era.
Another thing that has me ignoring that stat is that New England wasn't running a short passing game offense. More run, and more downfield throws. The odds of an interception go up, the farther downfield the throw.
In Brady's first 6 years, he didn't have an all-world tight end. Patrick has had that.
Patrick had Hill for 4 years. Tom didn't get Moss until his 7th season.
Too many variables to make this judgment, definitively.
But, both are great and we wouldn't go wrong with either.

allow me to follow up with this question: You're a GM and have to pick between Andy Reid and Bill Belichick as your head coach. Who gets the job?

If we're playing a team with excellent talent & unique defensive schemes, give me Reid.
If the opponent is an offensive power, probably Bellichek is the best choice because he's never been married to a single scheme and is more likely to come up with something the offense is not prepped for.
That said, based on the KC/Balt game Sunday, maybe we need to know who the coordinators are. Because Spagnola pantsed the Ravens' braintrust. And, Andy doesn't run the defense.
Again, lots of variables so not sure there is a right or wrong choice.

And he's two years younger than Brady was when he got his third ring.

These are the updated stats:

No matter if Mahomes ever wins 7 Super Bowls (unlikely), even then the Brady fans will always point out is this:

"To me it's always gonna be tough because Brady beat me in the Super Bowl," Mahomes said. "That's one thing I'll always have over my head."

Indeed, Brady's Buccaneers beat Mahomes' Chiefs, 31-9, in Super Bowl 55. That remains Mahomes' lone Super Bowl loss and his worst performance to date, as he completed 26 of 49 passes for 270 yards and two interceptions while facing constant pressure from an excellent Tampa Bay defense.

Mahomes also lost head-to-head against Brady in the 2018 AFC championship game, so his career record against Brady's teams is 0-2.

...out of him in that game. The offensive line was so overmatched against that defense.
I'm impressed that after that beating, Mahomes has gotten their twice more & won. Pretty resilient.
