Related: About this forumKirk Cousins, he said with a sneer
He's a QB who doesn't seem to garner a lot of respect.
But the guy threw for 500 yards in the Thursday night game along with four passing TDs in what was a thrilling overtime win by the Falcons over the Bucs.
That performance puts Cousins at more than 40,000 yards for his NFL career, which started in 2012 with Washington. It ranks him 23rd all-time among quarterbacks in total passing yards. He's less than 250 yards from overtaking Joe Montana for 22nd spot!
(At age 36, good luck surpassing Tom Brady's record 89,214 yards, but still!)
Anyway, the next time you hear Kirk Cousins spoken of jokingly, throw these stats at the skeptic. He's better than the average Bear (just an expression, Professor GAC).

And to think they were able to survive the Trey Lance debacle (which actually could be hurting them big time right now).
