Cleveland Browns leaving Cleveland for Brook Park

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Browns intend to leave the city of Cleveland for a new stadium in Brook Park, according to Cleveland Mayor Justin Bibb.
Bibb made the bombshell announcement during a Thursday afternoon news conference at City Hall. It comes after more than a year of negotiations during which Bibb and Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam failed to agree upon a deal to renovate the Browns’ current home at the city-owned lakefront stadium in downtown Cleveland.

Looks like they've been clearing a space between the airport and I71, don't know if there are plans for that space yet.

It’s time stadiums can’t be obsolete after only a couple of decades! Time for billionaire owners to be taxed like hell and should not be allowed to fleece taxpayers for a new palaces via blackmail.

Off of West 130th st. It’s certainly part of the metropolitan Cleveland area, but the current location is just fine, and only 25 years old.

The NFL has extorted Cleveland multiple times for hundreds of millions of dollars over the Browns, and it’s not enough. It’s never enough. I’m tired of watching team owners hold their franchise cities hostage every few years for larger profits.
