He's either getting really bad medical care and advice or he's completely disregarding the danger.
I think it's dumb.

(5,677 posts)He had to sit out four weeks per the rules. It wasn't the severity of the injury that kept him out all this time. Once a player is deemed healthy enough to practice, they have to be re-activated and return to the roster.

(5,677 posts)I don't have a dog in this hunt whether he does or doesn't. The article I read said he was symptom free a day after the injury. Sitting him down for the four week minimum may have been Miami's way to protect their investment for the future. Maybe his injury wasn't all that serious.
