Sunday Night Football: Detroit Lions at Kansas City Chiefs

Before the game, this looked like Detroit should win. Kansas City has been looked decidedly un-Chief like at 2-3, while the Lions were 4-1, with four wins in a row.

Kansas City 30 - Detroit 17, and the Chiefs were in control for the entire second half of the game. I guess that's why they play the games. It was starting to look to me at least like this dynasty was fading, and the Chiefs more or less dominated possibly the best team in football.

2 years ago.. or as my husband likes to say, they're "gelling." Meantime I was hoping Detroit would win for my own selfish Bronco fan purposes as the Broncos are definitely not gelling.

that won the Super Bowl. I think the Broncos are in good shape at this point to start the season.

Just like it was early to count out the Lions after week 1. I'm also not counting out the Ravens either mostly because they had a very tough schedule to start the season combined with key injuries and an upcoming much weaker schedule but I know the odds are not in their favor.

My team the Cardinals are a razor thin margin away from being 6-0 but they're also a razor thin margin to being 0-6 so it may be okay to count my team out even though they have a better record than the Ravens.
