NFL quarterbacks enter the Twilight Zone

Two QBs who you'd never expect to be anywhere near the 450 yards passing mark both achieved very close to that or more today: Bryce Young and Jacoby Brissett.

Young's effort helped put a W on the board for the Panthers (6-5) while Brissett's Cardinals got steamrolled by Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers and Arizona fell to 3-7.

If they did I missed it. Defense emphasized coverage and kept everything in front of them. Did a pretty good job, too, but it also helped that Arizona committed a franchise record 17 penalties for 130 yards, a lot of which were by the offense.

We'll see if their D allows Bryce Young to play out of his mind again. I wouldn't bet on it!

I never expected them to win with all their injuries especially on the defensive side of the ball but all NFL teams have injuries.

The Cardinals were trailing the whole game. How many pass attempts did he have? He had almost a pick six (a long interception return close to the endzone) so totally not impressed.
