By most all accounts he's a great guy and would be a nice addition to any team.

The problem is that he can't seem to fit in to the style on most NFL teams, which is to look for the pass first and only run if absolutely necessary.

From what I've read he's had some trouble with fitting in to this style. On the Broncos he wanted to convince the coaches to let him play his style and they were unconvinced. On the Jets he just didn't develop the mechanics to throw the ball properly. On the Eagles he couldn't seem to read defenses well and find and get the ball to the open man downfield, and that's why they cut him.

I hope for his sake he gets a chance on an NFL team. I don't know if any want him though.

If he isn't wanted in the NFL, maybe he can play in the Canadian Football League or some arena league?

There is just no call for quarterbacks who cannot throw the ball. To bad, really, because I kind of like the guy and enjoy his enthusiasm for the game.

I bet Chip Kelly wished he had a quarterback who could run for 1 yard last night!

Oh wait - he used to have one!

Oh, well - Philadelphia Eagles, 0-1.
