Anybody else wondering if the Bengals just straight out THREW that game?

That's the only thing that explains why a team that was so freaking good this year would get like that in the last 1:23.

Not a fan of theirs, but how do you forget to "take a knee" three times and then kick another field goal?

Or decide to burn your last time outs when the other team has the ball and you should want the clock to be running down on them?

Or two personal foul penalties on the same play?

The looked like the high school team Tom Cruise played on in ALL THE RIGHT MOVES.

but I knew a lot about Pacman. You don't want him anywhere near a volatile situation. As for Burfict, he's so out of control, he went undrafted despite being ranked behind only Kleuke and Hightower at ILB. It's coming out now that offensive players are pointing the finger at Marvin Lewis for never trying to discipline players on the defense. They say something like this was bound to happen.

Running the ball there isn't the most boneheaded thing. I don't recall how many time outs PIT had, but I'll bet every coach would have done the same because they want the clock to expire. That's part of the game. The shit after should never happen.

That said, Marvin Lewis might have come away from this looking worst of all. Bill Cower all but fired him after the game.

It would have burned more time to take a knee three times, and it would have forced the Steelers to burn their last time outs. They were already in field goal range.

And there was no good reason for the Bengals to use THEIR timeouts when the Steelers had the ball back. They should have wanted the time to run down on the Steelers and force Pittsburg to burn timeouts themselves.

it kind of went right past me. lol

I was all about Burfict.

You would have done the right thing, but I'm still pretty sure a lot of coaches would have run the ball. It happens all the time, that's where the phrase, "Why didn't you take a knee?!??!!!" comes from
